What do I do if I need a computer system?
Instructions on how to purchase or replace your computer system:
As you develop your criteria you should have no boundaries. Today's systems should do most anything. Envision the best possible way to do things in your business and look for those qualities in a software system.
There is a good chance your current data processing personnel may not know about all the possible solutions that exist today. You may never have viewed new technology in a computer software system. Look outside your organization to alternatives and you may be surprised at what you are missing.
Do not convert to a new system without knowing what will happen and when. Develop a plan of action. Plans can change, effective change cannot happen without a plan.
Understand and monitor the plan:
You and your organization must know when things are to happen and what objectives need to be accomplished. Proper monitoring of the plan will allow you to know how well you are doing, and when you may have to alter the plan.
